As
You Said...
I am 63 years old now,
and I had been prone to earaches since I was a child. I
can remember my mother sending me to bed with a hot
water bottle to ease the pain. About three years ago I
started taking
Aconite 30x and
Chamomilla 30x simultaneously as soon as an earache
started. I have not had an earache in a year. This works
for my dog too!

Cold
Solution Worked Wonders!
Cold Solutions with Zinc has worked wonders for my
family. None of us--even my preschooler and
toddler--have developed colds since we started taking
the
Cold Solutions with Zinc at the first sign of a
cold. It is truly amazing!

Aconite (Monkshood)
With
Autumn winds whipping in, cold germs flooding schools,
and immune systems weakening from too much stress or
Halloween candy, this homeopathic remedy can really hit
it’s mark.
Stopping colds before they start is
Aconite’s most popular application. When shocked by
cold wind or trauma, some systems tend to overreact -
sending up sudden fevers and setting off sniffles and
sneezes. When given with the first sneeze, sniffle, dry
throat, dry barking cough, ear pain, fever or other sign
that a cold is on its way,
Aconite can help your body cut it short. Its cold
symptoms may be marked by a thirst for cold drinks,
chills, a flushed face (sometimes just one cheek is red)
and the fear that it is bound to get worse.
In
first aid,
Aconite has an uncanny ability to minimize the
negative responses to physical and emotional shocks.
When fear and anxiety threaten to induce panic following
an accident or trauma,
Aconite can steady the nerves and help you address
the situation.
Whenever anger, shocking news, night frights, exams or
even getting stuck in an elevator or lost in a crowd,
induce a state of panic,
Aconite calms the nerves and minimizes the latent
physical and mental effects. Key symptoms to look for
include sudden intense responses, tingling and/or
burning sensations and a flushed face that becomes pale
on standing.
Though generally a remedy for the first 24 - 48 hours,
Aconite has helped complaints that started after a
previous panicky situation.
Aconite also treats sudden bursting, burning
headaches; eye inflammation when the whites are reddish;
fevers that feel hot inside and chilly outside and may
alternate cold and hot at night; sleeplessness from
anxious dreams; mothers and babies frightened by
childbirth; restless teething children with hot red
cheeks; and of course sudden ear pain or irritation.
If
its trademark anxiety, sudden onset, tingling sensation
and pain intolerance are present,
Aconite can bring needed calm and comfort.
When
do you choose
Aconite over
Arnica to give first after an accident?
Arnica is stunned but says something like, “no, I’m
fine, don’t touch me,” while
Aconite is restless and more apt to say, “help me,
I’m scared.”
Aconite can be followed immediately by
Arnica to address physical trauma. Both remedies
have a place in every first aid kit and birth bag.
Please note: Shock can be serious. Never call off the
ambulance because a remedy has you feeling better. |
