A Broken Wrist Story

Hello Luyties,

I have been a highly satisfied Luyties/1800homeopathy customer about 14 years. I recently fell on my left hand causing it to bend backward, fracturing my wrist and spraining its ligaments. I immediately started taking Arnica frequently and impressed the ER doctor with lack of swelling. Until he saw the X-rays, he did not think it could be a broken wrist. Even so, I'm 73 and fretted over recovery time. Arnileve pills to the rescue! As soon as I returned home with my arm in a cast, I started taking Arnileve tablets. They contain all the necessaries for bone repair, ligament damage and pain. What a relief to the constant ache! I did not even fill the Rx for a pain killer the doctor prescribed. Cast is coming off after 5 weeks, the prognosis was 6-9 weeks.

Thanks!

P.S. I use the Arnileve ointment on my hand and where the cast causes soreness.

Homeopathic Remedy

Arnileve for a

Broken Wrist

Arnileve Ointment

This combination remedy which we keep for you in our Apothecary comes from the British homeopathic medicine company Nelson Bach. It contains five of the most important first aid trauma remedies in homeopathy. When combined, they make a powerful homeopathic remedy for all kinds of strains, sprains, bruises and bone injuries. The Arnileve Ointment the customer refers to packs the same remedies (except Rhus tox) in a healing ointment.

The Details:

Arnica - the #1 First Aid Homeopathic Remedy to take after accidents of all kinds as it minimizes bruising, bleeding, swelling and shock. It outranks all our other remedies in testimonials and sales. Click here to connect to its page and testimonials.

Hypericum - the Arnica of the Nerves remedy as it helps relieve pain and aid healing of injured nerves, especially in nerve-rich areas like hands, feet and coccyx. It must have a lot to do with why this customer did not fill her pain killer prescription.

Rhus tox - addresses sprained ligaments, stiffness and inflammation. For wrist injuries, homeopath Miranda Castro states, that when Rhus helps most, the "sprained wrist will be accompanied by an inability to grip anything properly and strongly." She also states that after taking Arnica first, "to deal with any bruising and possible swelling. Then give Rhus tox if the sprain is accompanied by the typical general symptoms"  - those would be: better for heat and gentle motion, worse for cold and dampness. As a master for arthritic complaints, the Rhus tox in Arnileve will probably help this customer's recovery long after the cast is removed.

Ruta grav - the first homeopathic remedy to consider for sprained tendons especially if, "the injured part feels lame and as if bruised and the pains are constant." For repeated injuries like tennis elbow, Castro states, "these should always be given a lot of time to heal in case the tendon itself is partially detached. Ruta will help to heal a damaged tendon, provided the joint is bandaged tightly and completely rested." Ruta also helps the periosteum (bone covering) mend itself.

Symphytum - this homeopathic remedy's source plant earned the name knitbone™ before it was proven effective for healing broken bones in homeopathy. Miranda Castro states, "it eases pain and speeds up the healing of boken and fractured bones." She also suggests it for "injury to the eyeball itself or to the bones surrounding the eyes where pain persists after Arnica has been given and has dealt with the swelling." Granted both of these applications should follow immediate medical attention.

Thank you St. Louisan for sharing your story and congratulations on your speedy recovery!
