Tonic Tissue E - Natural Vitality In A
Bottle
Instead of
wasting energy this winter, you can refuel your mental,
emotional and physical resources with 1-800-HOMEOPATHY’s
safe natural phosphate cell salt remedies. In its
purest form, the highly flammable chemical phosphorus
ignites on contact with air. Thus it makes sense that
phosphate compounds in our cells are critical to energy,
vitality, heat and the interconnectedness of cells and
tissues. |

Calc phos, Ferrum phos,
Kali phos, Mag phos, Nat phos
Tonic: a
medicinal substance taken to give a feeling of vigor or
well-being. The name may be old-fashioned but the
definition is still perfect for what this phosphate
quintet provides. When overall vitality is running low
or you are feeling a bit susceptible, it offers
worry-free support.
Calc phos (the remedy for growth, repair or
convalescence) and
Ferrum phos (the anti inflammatory cell salt) make a
great pair when the blood has been taxed, especially
with simple acute anemia, because calcium phosphate (Calc
phos) helps build strong cells and iron phosphate (Ferrum
phos) helps carry the oxygen to where it is needed.
When mental or physical energy is out of whack, the
‘nerve nutrient,’
Kali phos, offers calming support. Mag phos helps
nerve-muscle communication to prevent spasms and cramps
and minimize tension. Nat phos helps with both digestive
and tissue/joint aggravations by keeping acids at bay.
So, whenever life is a drain, this tonal remedy can help
you relax and enjoy the music.

Professional
Insights: While each homeopathic single remedy addresses
a whole range of symptoms by itself, in our combination
remedies homeopathic singles are selected for their
action on a particular ailment, issue or organ system.
In our remedy
descriptions we define each single ingredient’s general
contribution, but these professional homeopathy texts
give much more insight than our coverage allows. Here's
what they say about these homeopathic energy

 |
In her book, The Complete Homeopathy Handbook, Miranda
Castro writes this of
Calc phos (calcium phosphate).
Calcarea phosphorica is of vital importance in the
growth and maintenance of healthy cells. It nourishes
blood cells, bones, teeth and all connective
tissue...This is a wonderful tonic to give to children
who have had a growth spurt and have become pale and
exhausted as a result. Adults and children who are weak
and tired while convalescing from an illness will
likewise benefit from this remedy - it will help them to
regain their strength. ...This is for the convalescent
stage of an illness, of post-childbirth, where regaining
strength is proving difficult.
|
|
Emotional/Mental
Symptoms:
Anxious. Discontented.
Restless. Sighing. Sluggish in children. Worse for
mental exertion.
Adults complain and grumble about many things. Thinking
of their complaints often makes them feel worse. They
sigh a lot while talking and are generally restless.
Children are peevish and lifeless and have no ‘go’ in
them. They want something but they don’t know what.
Physical Complaints
listed include:
Anaemia, Broken bones,
Cough, Cramp, Headache (in school children), Insomnia,
Joint pain, Period problems, Stiff neck, Teething.
In his book Desktop Guide,
Roger Morrison, MD, gives these insights:
Older
Calcarea phosphorica children are very sensitive and
often overwhelmed by the stresses of school. At school
age the child often presents with complaints of school
phobias, school headaches or stomach pains during the
day, at the end of the school day. A strong
characteristic in
Calc phos children is a constant complaint of
boredom.
This feeling may often be
associated with a chronic, causeless feeling of
unhappiness and a generally bad attitude.... Peevish and
discontented. Complaining, never satisfied. Strong
desire to travel. |

In his book, Biochemic Therapy of Dr. Schuessler, John
W. Cogswell presents these
Ferrum phos (iron phosphate) details.
Iron phosphate colors the red blood corpuscles, carries
oxygen to all parts of the body, and thus furnishes the
vital force that sustains life. Without a proper balance
of iron in the blood, health cannot be maintained. When
an imbalance in this cell-salt occurs, the circulation
is increased, for the blood tries to carry enough oxygen
to all the tissues of the body with the limited amount
of iron at hand, and in order to do so must move
rapidly.
|
|
This increased motion being changed to heat by the law
of the conservation of energy, is called fever. ... It
is not the fever or heat alone that causes the condition
of unease in the patient but the imbalance of
Ferrum phos and a subsequent lack of oxygen.
A lack of
Ferrum phos., or a proper balance in the blood, is a
contributing cause of “colds.” ... For all such
conditions, whenever there is inflammation,...
Ferrum phos is the indicated remedy, in the first
stage.
Mental Symptoms: Rush of blood to the
brain... Inertia, indifference to ordinary matters.
Hasty, intolerant feeling in afternoon. Obstacles cause
annoyance and trifles appear large. Loss of courage and
hope, better on awakening in the morning...
J. B. Chapman’s book Dr. Schuessler’s Biochemistry adds:
The symptoms of these disturbances are: flushed face,
fever, quick, full pulse, hot dry skin, thirst, pain and
redness of the parts. In anemia it is excellent
for its tonic action.
Ferrum phos symptoms are always aggravated by motion
and relieved by cold. |
|
 |
In her book, The Complete Homeopathy Handbook, Miranda
Castro writes this of
Kali phos (potassium phosphate).
Kali phosphoricum is a constituent of all animal
fluids and tissues and especially of the brain, nerves,
muscles and blood cells.
It is indicated in cases of nervous exhaustion where
anaemia, nervous headaches and/or insomnia are present.
It is especially useful for exhaustion that follows a
bad case of flu and it is also useful in the
convalescent stage of an acute illness where there is
muscular weakness.
|
|
This tiredness is often accompanied by sweating from
even the gentlest exertion. The patients are very
sensitive to cold air and cold in general, and all their
complaints are worse for cold. They feel better for -
and desperately need - warmth and rest.
Emotional/Mental Symptoms:
Kali phos is for those who are exhausted following a
heavy work or study period and whose nerves are
consequently frayed. They become sensitive, easily
startled and depressed - a true sort of depression of
the mind where the memory no longer works as well as it
did, with resultant anxiety. The mind becomes exhausted
and sluggish. Sensitivity to noise and light are often
present. |
|
 |
In her book, The Complete Homeopathy Handbook, Miranda
Castro writes this of
Magnesia phosphorica (magnesium phosphate).
Insight:
Magnesia phosphorica has been nicknamed ‘the
homeopathic aspirin’
because of its success with curing minor aches and
pains. These may be period pains, headaches, earaches,
teething pains or even neuralgic pains of the face. For
this remedy to be most effective, the general symptoms
that characterise it must be present.
|
|
The pains are greatly relieved by heat, by the
application of a hot water bottle or a hot compress, and
are much worse for cold - for walking out in the cold,
for swimming in cold water and/or for getting cold and
wet. Firm pressure helps although light pressure may
aggravate. J. B. Chapman’s book Dr. Schuessler’s
Biochemistry adds these specifics:
The work of
Magnesia phos is chiefly confined to the delicate
white nerve-fibers of the nerves and muscles. It
uses albumen and water to form the transparent fluid
which nourishes these white threads or fibers. A
deficiency of this salt in the fiber allows it to
contract, hence it produces spasms, cramps, convulsions,
etc. When this contraction takes place, there is
pressure on the sensory nerves, and this gives rise to
sharp, shooting, darting or neuralgic pains in any part
of the body. This salt is Nature’s anti-spasmodic;
and given in hot water will produce splendid results. |
|
 |
In his book, Biochemic Therapy of Dr. Schuessler, John
W. Cogswell
describes
Natrum phosphorica (sodium phosphate):
Natrum phos. is a constituent of the blood cells and
is also present in the muscles, nerve and brain cells,
as well as in the intracellular fluids. The function of
this salt is to split up the lactic acid in the system
into carbonic acid and water.
|
|
Natrum phos. is a useful remedy in conditions
resulting from an excess of lactic acid. ... The
corresponding symptoms are: acid eructations, sour
vomiting, cramps, colic, yellowish, sour-smelling
stools. The uric acid in the blood is kept soluble
by the presence of
Natrum phos. and with the aid of the blood
heat. A disturbance in the balance of
Natrum phos favours the formation of urate of soda,
an insoluble salt which forms a deposit at or near the
joints causing gout and articular rheumatism.
J. B. Chapman’s book Dr. Schuessler’s Biochemistry
discusses these
Nat phos details.
Natrum phos is the remedy in all cases where there
exists an excess of acid in the system.
It has an affinity for sugar, and assists in eliminating
any excess from the blood. A lack of proper balance of
the alkaline cell-salt in gastric juice will allow
ferments to arise, and so retard digestion that the
lining of the stomach quickly becomes involved.
Natrum phos by its affinity for lactic acid, is
indicated in diseases wherein the acid is apparently in
excess.
