Homeopathy Tips
•
Belladonna
#1 for Heat
•
#33 Headaches
First sign of trouble
•
Cell salts
Before to prepare
After to recover
Rule #1: Carry
Belladonna in your pocket!
Flushed faces, sudden spikes in temperature, throbbing
pain, dilated pupils, dizziness...
Belladonna’s relief reads like a case of heat
exposure.
#2:
Carry #33 Headaches. Headaches are often the first
indismissable sign of too much heat.
#3:
Cell Salts Before: Prepare your cells with the cell
salts. The more well-nourished your cells, the less
susceptible you will be to strain.
#4: Recovery is
faster with cell salts.
Bioplasma and
Tonic Tissue E offer well-rounded cell salt support
for vitality and repair.
More Options:
• Ferrum phos
- If not so flushed as Bella but fear you’ve pushed
yourself to the limit, this anti-inflammatory cell salt,
can be very restorative.
•
Mag phos - A must
at first sign of leg cramps.
•
#7 Fever - If it
needs cooling, homeopathy doesn’t care whether the heat
comes from an internal problem or the sun outside.

First Aid Tips
Signs
of Trouble:
•
pale or flushed face
•
headache
•
muscle cramps
•
sweating heavily
•
general
weakness
•
dizziness, nausea
Rule #1: As soon as your face flushes or your head
starts to throb, find the coolest, least humid
environment. If air conditioning or indoor shelter are
too far away, shade with a newspaper.
#2 Lie down with feet up and loosen tight clothes.
#3 Get wet - bathe or wet clothing or apply a wet
towel or sheet to skin
#4 If not too nauseous, drink tepid water perhaps
with a pinch of salt or a pretzel or cracker. Iced
drinks can cause stomach cramps so tepid is preferred.
Electrolyte drinks are great but sugar is not, so try to
balance the benefits. Avoid alcohol and sugar-rich
drinks.
#5 Consult a practitioner ASAP
Hint: Acclimate yourself to the heat. Avoid a full day
in the heat and sun until you have worked up to it --
starting as low as 5 minutes a day. So if your child
just signed up for little league, spend a few weeks
getting both of you prepped to take the heat. |
