Ferr phos
J. B.
Chapman's book Dr. Schuessler's Biochemistry discusses
these Ferrum phos details.
Ferrum phos is the great remedy for inflammatory
conditions. It is found in the blood, where it colors
the corpuscles red and carries oxygen to all parts of
the body. It gives strength or toughness to the circular
walls of the blood vessels, especially the arteries.
Without a proper balance of
Ferrum phos in the blood, health cannot be
maintained. It colors the blood corpuscles red. A
deficiency of this salt is the cause of all inflammatory
conditions, colds, coughs, etc.
For all such
conditions, whenever there is inflammation, under
whatever name it may be known,
Ferrum phos is the chief remedy. It is
indicated in all cases depending upon a relaxed
condition of the muscular tissue, and in abnormal
conditions of the corpuscles of the blood themselves. In
all febrile disturbances and inflammations, at the
commencement, before exudation has begun. The symptoms
of these disturbances are: flushed face, fever, quick,
full pulse, hot dry skin, thirst, pain and redness of
the parts. In anemia it is excellent for its tonic
action.
Ferrum phos symptoms are always aggravated by motion
and relieved by cold. |

Kali Sulph
In their book,
The Twelve Tissue Remedies of Schuessler, MDs Wm
Boericke and WA Dewey writes this of
Kali sulph.
Insight:
Kali sulph is found in the cells and in the
intercellular fluids, muscles, nerves, epithelium and in
the blood corpuscles. It is the carrier of oxygen. The
oxygen taken up by the iron contained in the blood
corpuscles is carried to every cell of the organism by
the reciprocal action of
Kali sulph and iron. Every cell requires for its
growth and development the vitalizing influence of
oxygen. But its continued action oxidizes the organic
basis of cells. Hence, they disintegrate into their
constituent elements. A deficiency of
Kali sulph may according to location and extent,
occasion the following symptoms: Feeling of heaviness
and weariness, vertigo, chilliness, palpitation, fear,
melancholy, toothache, headache, pains in the limbs,
which intermit and change location. These pains are
worse in closed rooms, warmth and towards evening, and
better in fresh, open air, that is rich in oxygen.
Epidermis and epithelial cells poorly fed with oxygen
loosen and desquamate freely. If oxygen is brought to
the suffering parts by means of Kali sulph the formation
of new cells is thereby furthered.
On Pain
Neuralgic or rheumatic pains ... periodical, worse in
the evening or in a warm room, and decidedly better in a
cool atmosphere. Rheumatic pains in the joints or any
part of the body... Cramps in upper and lower
extremities. |

Mag phos
In her book,
The Complete Homeopathy Handbook, Miranda Castro writes
this of
Mag phos.
Insight:
Mag phos has been nicknamed 'the homeopathic
aspirin' because of its success with curing minor aches
and pains. These may be period pains, headaches,
earaches, teething pains or even neuralgic pains of the
face. For this remedy to be most effective, the general
symptoms that characterize it must be present. The
pains are greatly relieved by heat, by the application
of a hot water bottle or a hot compress, and are much
worse for cole - for walking out in the cold, for
swimming in cold water and/or for getting cold and wet.
Firm pressure helps although light pressure may
aggravate.
J. B.
Chapman's book Dr. Schuessler's Biochemistry adds these
specifics:
The work of
Magnesia phos is chiefly confined to the delicate
white nerve-fibers of the nerves and muscles. It
uses albumen and water to form the transparent fluid
which nourishes these white threads or fibers.
A deficiency of this salt in the fiber allows it to
contract, hence it produces spasms, cramps, convulsions,
etc. When this contraction takes place, there is
pressure on the sensory nerves, and this gives rise to
sharp, shooting, darting or neuralgic pains in any part
of the body.
This salt is Nature's anti-spasmodic; and given in hot
water will produce splendid results. |

Nat phos
While not in
this combination,
Natrum phos' importance in breaking down lactic acid
makes it very useful in preventing sore muscles after
workouts or accidents.
J. B.
Chapman's book Dr. Schuessler's Biochemistry discusses
these
Nat phos details.
Natrum phos is the remedy in all cases where there
exists an excess of acid in the system.
Natrum phos splits up lactic acid into carbonic acid
and water, and throws it off through the lungs. It has
an affinity for sugar, and assists in eliminating any
excess from the blood. A lack of proper balance of the
alkaline cell-salt in gastric juice will allow ferments
to arise, and so retard digestion that the lining of the
stomach quickly becomes involved.
Natrum phos by its affinity for lactic acid, is
indicated in diseases wherein the acid is apparently in
excess. |
