| Though very similar to the pure cell salt Calc sulph, this concoction (made by heating sulphur with the white interior of oyster shells, Calc carb) tends to help congestion or abscesses at an earlier stage than Calc sulph's cleansing properties. As a result of a chilly flu or cold with rattling, croupy cough, throat irritation, hoarseness, yellow mucus, fever and possibly ear pain, the Hepar sulph patient becomes very sensitive, easily irritated and even depressed. As with both calcium and sulphur, Hepar sulph promotes healing in skin (abscessed boils, sores, cuts or teeth) and glandular ailments. Painless diarrhea may be in the picture, too. In general, if catching colds or skin problems is very familiar to you, you might want to try Hepar sulph next time either complaint shows up, especially if cold dry wind is very aggravating. |
