The ability to open blocked areas is a common chord in these three remedies,
thus they make a great trio for simple ear noises and pain caused by
congestion, swimming or bathing whether the blocking agent is excess mucus,
water, wax or other matter. Hepar sulph ears are sensitive to touch and
wind and may hear whizzing noises when blocked. Pulsatilla ears have
'drawing pain' when they are blocked and may hear snapping or fluttering
noises, especially on the right side. Then of course there is the most
expelling remedy Silica , whose ears roar but feel better for yawning and
