| Whoever named comfrey 'knitbone' long ago knew its powers. Homeopathically and herbally, Symphytum makes an excellent first-aid
remedy for healing and relieving the pain of broken, fractured or bruised
bones and any other injury that affects the periosteum (outer layer of
bones), tendons or sinews. For broken bones, it is best not to take it until
the bone is set three days because it starts knitting quickly. It can be
particularly helpful for broken bones that do not heal or become inflamed
and for painful stumps after amputation. For eye injuries from direct
blows, it can provide healing and comfort - on the way to the emergency
room, of course. |
