Gastro Intestinal Problem Solved
Several years ago I visited the doctor for loud gurgling noises in my
stomach. He gave me a medicine, which didn't work and I ended up returning
to his office complaining of soreness every time I touched my stomach. He
prescribed me a different medicine and sent me on my way. One week later I
ended up in the hospital for 8 days from extreme pain. Through further
tests and surgery, they discovered that the area in my intestines where the
large meets the small intestine, there was a huge inflammation. Doctors did
all sorts of tests, with no real conclusion. One Doctor said it was not
Crohn's Disease and the next said it was, even thought the test came back
negative. Since they know no other way, they told me I had Crohn's,
prescribed me steroids and sent me to a gastroentorologist. I was on the
steroids for one and a half weeks, looked up the side effects, and
discovered that the largest side effect, (aside from the other 30 some side
effects), was gastro intestinal problems. I discussed it with the doctor and he
said 'we'd tackle that down the road'. I wasn't happy with it and tried
3 other gastroentorologists, who all claimed the test was negative yet they
still believed I had Crohn's and should take steroids. I refused, found a
homeopathic doctor and only 3 1/2 mths later, am totally healed, it was NOT
Crohn's and I have had no symptoms of it for 5 yrs now. The homeopathic
medicine was the only thing that took away the pain and helped me. I
haven't seen a regular doctor since!
