Pregnancy Rash
My first experience with homeopathy came when I was pregnant with my first
child. I woke in the middle of the night feeling a burning of my skin and
ran to the bathroom to check it out. I had developed angry red bumps all
over my chest and stomach and called my midwife in a panic. She calmed me
down and began asking my to describe the bumps, what did they feel like,
etc. They felt like I had simultaniously rolled in an ant hill and been
attacked my giant mosquitoes. I had the Pregnancy rash known in the
allopathic world as PUPPS. My midwife called me back after checking out the
correct rememdy and told me I might have success with Apis Mellifica. I'd
never heard of such a thing, and wouldn't have known where to get the remedy
that night until I remembered my chiropractor had mentioned their family
used a kit around the house. I called him (3am!) and sure enough they had
the correct rememdy and brought it over. My burning and redness was relieved
within five minutes of taking the first dose. Twenty minutes later I needed
to take a second dose and an hour later a third. The next day I felt the
burning coming back and took one more dose and was completely rash free for
the remainder of my pregnancy. Now pregnant with my second child I've had
no recurrences at all! Thank you to Homeopathy that saved me months of
suffering through my pregnancy!!
