Phosphorous for a New Mom
After our daughter was born, I began experiencing rapid heart beat, sweating and would suddenly wake up after falling asleep for five minutes. Things got worse as the days went on, and I had virtually no sleep for about a week,. I went to the emergency room, I was diagnosed with post-partum depression, and was told to begin taking Prozac. I certainly was not interested in taking this type of narcotic, so I went to my Homeopathic care provider, and he said I had the complete opposite of depression. I was overly anxious about caring for my baby. He gave me Phosphorous for treatment, and I calmed down, and was able to begin sleeping again.
